I grew up in Colorado Springs, CO, where I developed a fascination for portraying the world around me through music. This interest led me to study music composition at Colorado State University under the tutelage of Dr. James M. David. While at CSU I completed commissions for Dr. Christopher Van Hof, the CSU Middle School Outreach Ensemble, and the CSU New Music Ensemble. In 2019, I earned a master's degree in music composition by studying under two time Emmy award winning composer, Hummie Mann, at the Pacific Northwest Film Scoring Program at the Seattle Film Institute.

Since graduating I have worked as a freelance composer/copyist in the Seattle area. I am currently working as an additional copyist/engraver for RPM Seattle Music Preparation and Summerwind Productions (located in Colorado). I received a commission from the Northern Colorado Concert Band and hope to see it performed in concert in late 2020/early 2021. I have just recently completed a collaboration with Seattle visual artist, Jacob Nordberg, which involved both of us trying to interpret one another's work via our primary medium. I also teach music theory/composition, piano, and trombone privately. Please message me for more info.

I love making music--though sometimes it feels like an addiction. Don't be shy! Come say "Hi!" and we can talk about how I can contribute to your current or future projects.
